The President
The President chairs the General Assembly and the Governing Board and represents the Organisation internally and externally. The President is elected by the General Assembly for a term of two years.
Science Europe current President is Professor Paul Boyle, who is also Chief Executive of the UK Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
The Vice-Presidents
The President is supported by a Vice-President for Funding Organisations and a Vice-President for Performing Organisations. The Vice Presidents are elected by the General Assembly for a term of two years. The current Vice-Presidents are:
Professor André Syrota, President of INSERM (Institut national de la santé et de la recherche medicale, France)

Professor Pär Omling, President of the European Science Foundation (ESF) and former Director-General VR (Vetenskapsrådet, Swedish Research Council, Sweden)
