European Data in Health Research Alliance Campaign

The SE Medical Sciences Committee has collaborated with Cancer Research UK, the European Public Health Alliance, the European Patients’ Forum, the Federation of European Academies of Medicine, the Wellcome Trust and the British Heart Foundation to create a European Data in Health Research Alliance. The aim of the Alliance is to bring together academic, health research and patient organisations from across Europe to seek to ensure that the final European Data Protection Regulation protects research from the potentially devastating consequences of the amendments proposed by the European Parliament.
