Implementing the Data Protection Regulation – Position of Research and Patient Organisations

Today Science Europe and Wellcome Trust release a joint statement from the research community on the implementation of the Data Protection Regulation (DPR). The DPR provides a strong basis for the safe use of personal data in research and Member States now have a crucial role to play in its implementation by reviewing and amending their current laws to enable research to take place.
