Protecting Health and Scientific Research in the Data Protection Regulation

The Science Europe Scientific Committee for Medical Sciences supports a statement shared with several other research organisations, calling for a proportionate mechanism for protecting privacy, while enabling health and scientific research to continue. The statement was also signed by two members of Science Europe: the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (Inserm) and the UK Medical Research Council (MRC).
