Tallinn Call for Action Takes Up Science Europe Recommendation on Research Impact

“Recognise a broad notion of impact that acknowledges the societal value of research for policy and practice.” That is one of seven recommendations made in the Tallinn Call for Action, which is released today by the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the EU at the conference ‘European Research Excellence – Impact and Value for Society’. This recommendation echoes the main point from Science Europe’s July 2017 Position Statement ‘On A New Vision for More Meaningful Research Impact Assessment’. Read more
