COVID-19 Rapid Response
The Science Foundation Ireland, Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland rapid response call is an agile and adaptive initiative to support development of innovative solutions (including STEM-based, social/behavioural science) that can have rapid demonstrable impact on the current COVID-19 crisis in Ireland.
Eligibility: Any Research Performing Organisation; a client company of one of the following government agencies Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland, Údaras Na Gaeltachta or Local Enterprise Office (LEO). The involvement of relevant Government Departments and/or other public sector bodies in the development of applications and the delivery of the solution is strongly encouraged.
Budget: € 8,700,000

Express Call to fund research on COVID-19
The National Science Centre's (NCN) Express Call to fund research on COVID-19 aims to expand the knowledge needed to understand the mechanisms of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, diagnostic procedures, treatment, prevention and the psychological and social effects of the pandemic.
Budget: 10,000,000 PLN
Eligibility: Universities; federations of science and HE entities; research institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences operating pursuant to the Act on the Polish Academy of Sciences of 30 April 2010 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1475); research institutes operating pursuant to the Act on Research Institutes of 30 April 2010 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 736); institutes operating within the Łukasiewicz Research Network; international research institutes established pursuant to separate Acts, operating in the Republic of Poland; research centres of the Polish Academy of Sciences within the meaning of the Act on the Polish Academy of Sciences of 30 April 2010; and other entities involved in research independently on a continuous basis.

IP-CORONA-2020-04
This Croatian Science Foundation (HRZZ) call aims to lead to better understanding of biology and pathogenesis of the coronaviruses, more specifically the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the COVID-19 infectious disease, crisis management during and after the pandemics as well as the organisation and implementation of distance learning.
Budget: € 1,870,000
Eligibility: A scientist employed at a public university, public research institute in the Republic of Croatia and at other legal research entities as well as full members of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
